8% of Nordlinger’s sales are made via e-commerce. But there is still great potential for growth in this sales channel. Nordlinger wants to open 13 marketplaces by the end of 2023, i.e. be able to sell 90% of our products on these marketplaces. This differs from the current way of selling, where marketplaces only buy the top of the products they stock in the warehouse. The development plan also includes strong sales growth for the Nordlinger website, which is currently being optimised: redesign of the tree structure (i.e. the menu), technical and navigational improvements, and additions of products and services. Nordlinger therefore expects to double its e-commerce turnover by 2023.
As part of the E-commerce development project, Nordlinger has just recruited an E-commerce Manager, Stéphane Bissier, and a Key Account Manager Business Digital, Antoine Berthonneau, who joined the Group in early October 2022. Together with Mallory Grasset, they form the new E-commerce team.
